Day 10 & 11

I am thankful for new experiences.
I am thankful for home.

Caitlin had a rough week at the beginning of this trip. She didn't want to ride anything remotely fun.... She was too "scared" of EVERYTHING! It made things interesting to say the least. Slowly after thinking and thinking about it, we finally got her to ride a roller coaster.... And she LOVED it... So much so that she, Bel and I rode it 12 times in one day! Finally on the last day last ride of the day I got her to ride Space Mountain with me... She loved it! I was a proud Momma!

After 11/12 hours in the car we arrived home last night. There is nothing like coming home after being away! Sleeping in your own bed is heavenly!!! It really is a warm fuzzy feeling you get when you pull in the driveway and realize that your in your own space. Vacations are wonderful but its always nice to come back home!

Day 8 & 9

I am thankful for the times when my children sleep in!

I am thankful for poppy seed muffins! Mmmm!

So the two are vastly different but nonetheless I am VERY thankful for both! After 6 days of Disney (it has been magical!) I am EXHAUSTED and the kiddos sleeping in every morning has been WONDERFUL... May need to let them stay up late more often on the weekends!
And the second... Poppy Seed muffins.... Well I am NOT a breakfast person! Usually my "breakfast" includes coffee with milk and sugar of course and that is all! But we stopped at the grocery store last night and there they were Poppy Seed Muffins... I actually LOVE Poppy Seed Muffins! So this morning I ate 2 for breakfast... Good thing we did LOTS of walking around Disney!

Day 7

I am thankful for coffee!

If it wasn't for a good cup of Joe in the morning I'm not sure how I would function! So thank you to whom ever discovered that this wonderful bean could be roasted, grounded, mixed with hot water and sipped! I am forever thankful.

Here's to yummy caffeinated goodness!

Day 6

I am thankful for sleep! Zzzzz's....

So after only 2 days out of 5 days at the magical world of Disney I am so happy at the end of the day when my head hits the pillow! I've never seen these 3 girls sleep SO well! The weather had been record highs for this time of year... Hard to believe it's the end of Feb! Just makes me crave Spring at home so much more! I always say I need a vacation from my vacation after one and there is no doubt I could use a good hibernation period after this trip!

Day 4 & 5

I am thankful for sunny weather and family time!


So Disney is keeping me from my goal of blogging. I know darn the luck! The high today is supposed to be 84 or so.... Love it! Spending time as a family is going well... The memories we are building will last a lifetime! The stories are entertaining and hil-ar-ious! We had an adventure trying to get to s Starbucks last night that ended us up first at a hotel (thanks GPS) which did have a Starbucks inside but was closed and Starbucks 2 was in an outlet mall food court! At least it was open... But they only had enough stuff to make one drink that we ordered? Oh and on the way to said Starbucks 2 I almost hit a possum and as the hubby said "Locked up the tires" The possum ran back into the brush and lived to see another beautiful Florida day. So we are off to another fun filled magical day at Disney with Mickey and friends! But for now my two year old is sitting in the living room playing with plastic spoons and wearing her Dora life vest... Cause you never know when your living room might flood... But thats another vacation story!

Day 3

So I'm 44 minutes shy of it really still being day 3... But we're just gonna ignore that little fact! Cut me some slack here... I've been in the car with all 3 girls and the hubs for 10 almost 11 hours, picked up my in-laws, ate some dinner, ran to Walmart, took a shower and now here I sit in the darkness of my condo in Florida on vacation to share my thankfulness... I think I should get a medal for my effort! LOL!

I am thankful for a loving and gracious Lord who hears my every thought and prayer. He answers them as He sees fit in my life.

Oh how He loves me! Oh how He loves you!

I am not worthy of such a love... I am a sinner.... And I fall short everyday in so many ways. Yet there He is to lift me up. Unworthy... I am.

Thank you Lord for being there for me even when I fall short on you.

Day 2

I am thankful for my husband.

As I was dropping the "big" girls off at school this morning I saw people rolling their trash cans to the curb (its trash day). It's a misty rainy morning and the thought ran through my mind.... "Im so glad the hubby already rolled it out last night." It seems like such a small thing, but that's what I am thankful for. He does these things that seem so small but mean SO much to me. The fact that he does the dishes every night after dinner... Always has... Because I hate it so much. If it's been one of "those" kind of days he'll make dinner or bathe the kids or whatever else needs to be done just to give me a break. All those little things amaze me and show me the depth of his love (among other things). How blessed I am to have such an amazing partner to go through life with! So today I am thankful for my wonderful husband and all the "little" things he does for me.

Happy 60th Banner!

The days to Disney are t minus 2! Friday will be here before we know it! Along with everything else that needs to be done I wanted to make a birthday banner for my MIL's birthday Saturday. To the land of Hobby Lobby I went... Ava in tow. Fit 1 Dont wanna get in the cart! Made it to the scrapbook paper and was OVERWHELMED with all the options I had! Do I go serious or fun or funny? The options were endless! Once I had decided on a lovely grouping of purple and green toned papers (Some of my MIL's fav's) We wandered back to clearance and there it was.... My inspiration... Matching plates and napkins! I had just seen the same pattern on some paper! I now had a theme! So back to to scrapbook paper we went. Fit 2 I want OUT of this cart NOW! Well we finished up by finding some ribbon and bling and only had he 2 fits! So here's a peak at what I ended up with! Pretty simple with the help from my Silhouette!

Project 1: 311 (days left in 2011)

I am thankful for ______!

I am thankful for fresh clean water for my family and I to drink.
I flipped on the t.v. this morning (Heaven forbid Ava miss the Disney channel in the morning!) The t.v. was still on last nights channel and Beth Moore was on. I am not a huge religious t.v. watcher but I stayed tuned to the 5 minutes or so and listened to her talk about freedom. That had absolutely NOTHING to do with my thankfulness for fresh water... But anyways she was the guest speaker. The usual hosts then came on talking about third world countries and their lack of access to fresh water. And how many people die from something as simple as not having clean water. I take it for granted that when I turn on the faucet water will come out and it will be uncontaminated. So today I say thank you Lord for providing my family with fresh drinking water any time we want!

We are blessed!
